It’s way easier then this now as of 2019! I am using the blockshop theme. All you have to do is go to your navigation select the menus items you want. Then from that page just drag whatever sub page or “nested page” you would like and drag it into that main page! I tried your method to no avail but it is an older video thanks a lot I hope this helps someone I was ready to pull my hair out 😩

Thanks Artrin you have saved me a bunch of money. Shopify originally suggested that I hire a web page developer for assistance with this (Drop Down Menu Creation, Sub Categories, Etc.) Thank God For You Tube ….it has saved me thousands of dollars in Web Design, Photoshop and Automobile issues.👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍

Hi Artin. I'm Isaac and i'm very new to Shopify. Just only started my very own store 2 weeks ago. I just got a 2 questions:

    1. It's your store template a specific template to have that "+" sign where as some other templates won't have it in the home page? Cause i dont have that + sign in my store. So was wondering

    2. i followed exactly the steps you shown in this video, but apparently when im in "Main Menu", after adding a menu item (ex. test1) and link it to "Home", in my store when i click that "test 1" it will always show my "Home Page" even though i added a sub menu link to it, or a sub link to my collection. So,instead of linking it to home, i have to link "All collection" and go back into the store to tick off which collection i want it to appear.

So for the 2nd question, i was wondering is there to do with different templates?

But overall thanks for this video. It helped a lot (Y) 😀

For all of you in the comments that this method does not work in Debut theme, try and do a drag and roll. Eg create in main menu a section called watches (link to home page), then create one more for men watches (link to your men watches collections) and then one more for women watches (link again to your women collections). You should have 3 menus. Now just grab the 4 dots and drag them under the watches menu and you should have Watches–>Men watches, Women watches.

Great video it would not work on the other themes but once I read some of the comments and changed it to Brooklyn Theme it works. Then changed it back to another theme and the drop down menus still work. Thx a lot great video again.
